David spent 5 years in the United States and 11 years in South Korea as General Manager of a company that helped shape the image and branding of Korean companies in the form of exhibitions and promotional events. With his technical background in Mechanical Engineering from Singapore Polytechnic, and a MBA in International Business and Marketing from University of Oregon, David helped set the standards of the growing exhibition industry in Korea over the last 11 years working with Korean companies on their exhibition and promotional requirements, both in Korea and around the world.

As a student studying in the US, he was an active member of the Singapore Students Association, and graduated to be the President of the Singapore Club of Korea for 3 consecutive years prior to coming back to Singapore in the year 2002.

David was responsible for the start up of the company in Korea from a 2-man office to its current 22 staff.  He was also a member of the Korean International Business Council, which is made up of all the foreign Chamber of Commerce in Korea (KIBC). KIBC is a channel created by the Korean government to provide direct access to Korean government agencies to resolved business issues faced by the foreign community in Korea .

Over the last one and half year at World Business Association and US Technology Center, David was responsible for the organizing and setup of networking sessions for business people across various industries. Coordination with speakers and trainers for various programs organized, such as networking sessions, talks, education seminars and technology updates. He has also corresponded with US companies to source for commercially viable products and technologies that are available in US and needed in Asia and holding meetings and liaison with visitors from US who are interested to set up operations in Asia .

He will be responsible for both daily and strategic operations of the organization, including business development, operations, finance, human resources, sales/marketing, and strategic planning.
